Unusual sun taken over the Vosges Mountains, in the East of France.
Sunspots are visible on the surface. And if you look closely, you will notice a little of green flash at Sun's top ...
The deformation that damages the sun (non-circular shape) is caused by temperature gradients which modify the refraction on sunrays.
