Painting-Like Crepuscular Sky

Lights from ... La Serena (Coquimbo)

The cross-shaped structure we can see here is Cruz del Tercer Milenio, considered as the tallest monument in South America.
This religious place was built between 1999 and 2001 in the heart of Coquimbo city in Chile, next to La Serena. It is a gigantic piece of art measuring 83 meters high, and 40 meters wide.

🇨🇱 This picture was taken from about a dozen kilometers away from Coquimbo's Cross, few moments after the sun went down below the horizon. The contrasts in the sky were splendid, like a watercolor.

Technical Details....

📷What gives the illusion of a blurred sky is the long exposure time I used. Indeed, it is a 60-second exposure taken using a tripod.
