Moonrise in the countryside

Lights from ... the full Moon

April 11, 2017
It's been a long time since I dreamed of watching such an event.
To tell the truth, there are so few occasions when one can attend a full moonrise that one forgets how extraordinary it is.
I wish you to attend at least once in your life and you will certainly have those same wondering eyes!

The moon is tinged with this intense color because its light passes through a very thick layer of the atmosphere, and the latter acts as a filter (the atmosphere lets all the colors except the blue). Orange color that disappears as the Moon rises because the thickness of the atmosphere is less important than the horizon.
